Or if you’ve just popped on a film and don’t fancy listening to swishing water in the background, the Silence On Demand setting will sort that out. It’s a 30-minute quiet programme, so you can get stay focused on the action instead of the distraction. Combine this with the Extra Dry programme to finish off and you’ll still get germ-free dishes. This dry cycle uses high temperatures to make sure bacteria is gone for good.
The Hygiene+ programme removes bacteria from your cookware. It raises the water temperature to 70°C for up to 10 minutes during the rinse cycle. This kills any harmful germs and allergens, so your plates and cutlery are as clean as can be.
If you need your dishes ready to go straight after a wash, the Extra Dry function will make sure they come out without a drop of water in sight. It makes the drying time at the end of a cycle last longer, and boosts the temperature so even items like plastic containers are dry. So whether you’re about to serve up dinner, or just putting the dishes away before bed, you won’t need to spend time hand-drying them first.

The InfoLight function lets you know when it’s safe to open your dishwasher. When you’ve got a programme running, a small LED light will project onto the floor, telling you that the programme is running.
